Hong Kong attracting Macau gamblers

HONG KONG AND MACAO -- Hong Kong's floating casinos are attracting Macau-inclined gamblers because of their cost effectiveness, Bloomberg reports.

The ships save gamblers money on high hotel bills in Macau, the report explained.

Tourists do not require a visa to enter the boats which operate in international waters, however Macau casino operators are indifferent citing how little such boats can offer guests in the way of dining or shopping, Bloomberg reported.
