Hollywood Casino Raffle Valentine's Gift for relief fund

BAY ST. LOUIS, Mississippi -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- The Hollywood Cast Member Relief Fund (HCMRF) at Hollywood Casino Bay St. Louis raised $1,176 selling Valentine raffle tickets for today's drawing. There were 1,410 raffle tickets sold at $1 each or $5 for six tickets to raise money for the employee relief fund. Juanita Gautreaux, a main banker, was the lucky winner of the drawing and received a $250 gift card at Zales Jewelers. "Juanita is going to be so excited when she comes in this evening, now she can buy something just for her," said volunteer and fellow cast member, Judy Brockhaus.

The Hollywood Cast Member Relief Fund (HCMRF) generates funding through donations and employee fundraising efforts such as raffles, t-shirt sales, book sales and other activities. Hollywood Casino employees established the Section 501c (4) non profit organization to help co-workers facing financial hardship for a variety of reasons such as terminal illnesses, devastating home fires, and life altering disabilities.

Hollywood Casino cast members also actively participate in numerous non-profit fundraising and volunteer efforts year round as individuals and together on projects including the Hancock Food Pantry, United Way, Red Cross Blood Drives, Camp Civitan, March of Dimes, the Muscular Dystrophy Association, and more.
