Hollywood Casino hosts Corvette Show18 August 2008AY ST. LOUIS, Mississippi -- (PRESS RELEASE) -– Hollywood Casino Bay St. Louis is having a free open air Corvette Show on Saturday, August 23rd from 1 p.m. – 5 p.m. Nearly 100 Corvette owners from Louisiana and Mississippi have pre-registered to show off their prized Chevy's ranging from 1962 to 2008 of America's most beloved sports cars. Many special interest Corvettes will be on display including pace cars from the Indy 500 and LeMans, Anniversary Editions from 1978 and 2003, Collector Editions from 1982 and 1996, and a 2004 LeMans Commemorative Edition coupe. Also pre-registered are several Corvette ZO6's, considered to be the fastest, most powerful cars ever offered by Chevrolet and General Motors. "I finally get to bring my hobby to work with me," said Chad Barnett, Corvette owner and security manager at Hollywood Casino. "We'll have at least three Indy pace cars, too." If you don't have a Corvette, you could win one while you're here. Hollywood Casino is giving away a 2008 Corvette at 9 p.m. after the show.
