Hollywood Casino Bay St. Louis gives away four BMWs

BAY ST. LOUIS, Mississippi -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Hollywood Casino Bay St. Louis gave away four 2009 BMW 328i's last weekend to 4 very lucky players. Another 28 lucky players won $500 in Star Play consolation prizes. The cars and Star Play were awarded to players in four separate giveaway shows Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Michael Pell of Picayune, Mississippi, won the first luxury sedan Friday night and immediately called his brother on his cell phone on speaker phone while on stage "Hey, Billy you're never going to believe it, I just won the BMW at Hollywood Casino," said Pell . After failing to convince his brother that he won the new car he simply hung-up and walked off the stage and picked the luxury pearl white BMW among the four available colors.

The second BMW was given away in the first of two drawings on Saturday. Bonnie Trahan, of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, won a beautiful luxury black 328i. "I can't believe it, I never win anything," said Trahan. That may be true but the next winner can't say that. Leonard Nicoletta, of Gulfport, Mississippi, was the third of five finalists in Saturday evening's drawing. He was lucky enough to pick the correct placard to when a silver BMW. This is the second vehicle Nicoletta has won at Hollywood Casino in four months. He won a Corvette last August.

Jody Soldinie of Bay St. Louis, was the lucky winner in Sunday's drawing. She won a stunning red BMW. "I drove here in a Chevy Monte Carlo and now I have a BMW. I just can't believe it," said Soldinie. Coincidently, it was also "my birthday," exclaimed her smiling husband, as they celebrated on stage together.

"We're just one week into December and we've given away four BMW 328i's," said Senior Director of Marketing Jeffrey Sabree. "We're also giving away great prizes every single day like laptop computers, Apple iPod's and Wii entertainment consoles until the end of the month when you can win a Volkswagen Beetle convertible on the 31st; and then we start another four car giveaway," said Sabree.
