Hollywood casino at Kansas Speedway postpones hotel

KANSAS SPEEDWAY -- Hollywood Casino at Kansas Speedway will not proceed with building its new hotel this month, according to the Kansas City Business Journal.

This will mean the owner-operator Kansas Entertainment and Penn National Gaming must pay a penalty fine, the report said.

Penn National Gaming cited the soft economic conditions in the hotel market as the factor for not proceeding at this time, Kansas City Business Journal report said.
