Hollywood Boulevard closes for yearly intermission

BAY ST. LOUIS, Mississippi -- (PRESS RELEASE) -– Hollywood Boulevard, formerly Casino Magic Drive, will close Friday, September 28, 2007, from 12:00 a.m. until 6:00am. This closure is necessary for Hollywood Casino to preserve Hollywood Boulevard's integrity and ownership as a private roadway. The road intersects at Blue Meadow road off of US. Highway 90 in Bay St. Louis.

Detour routes will be clearly marked, with all traffic diverted to Joe's Bayou Road. Motorists can access Hollywood Casino from Joe's Bayou Road via Blue Meadow Road or Felicity Street. Hollywood Casino Security will be present during the closure to assist motorists. The closure of this roadway has occurred annually since the property opened as Casino Magic in 1992.

Hollywood Casino and Hotel features 291 guest rooms, 1,030 new slot machines, 20 unique table games, 6-table poker room and a new video poker bar. Hollywood offers entertainment venues including Shaker's martini bar featuring a live piano bar, Pete Fountain on Tuesdays and Wednesdays in the Oak Royale Room, and great concerts in the Cypress Ball room.

Hollywood Casino is home to the Bridges Golf Course, the state's only Arnold Palmer Championship Course. Hollywood has four restaurants including, Tuscany Steaks and Seafood, Jackpot Java, and the all new Epic Buffet. The Bridges Grill and Pro Shop have re-opened after multi-million dollars renovations. The fully renovated casino operation land-based, facility has 17,000 square feet of flexible function space and private meeting rooms.
