Hit Group picks Bally Technologies

18 June 2008

LAS VEGAS, Nevada -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Bally Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: BYI), a leader in slots, video machines, casino management systems and networked solutions for the global gaming industry, announced today that one of Europe's largest gaming operators, Hit Group, has selected Bally's Networked Floor of the Future systems solutions for its high-speed, Ethernet gaming floors at its gaming and entertainment centers in Slovenia.

Bally will install its full casino management and slot management systems solutions along with its iVIEW network that will ultimately deliver interactive player content to each of the Hit Group's 3,300 gaming machines. Bally's product offering to the Hit Group also includes the Company's new multiple language and foreign currency exchange capabilities. Full execution of the agreement for the Hit Group's properties is based on successful "go-lives" at multiple properties.

The Hit Group chose Bally after a highly competitive selection process in which they evaluated a number of companies based on the quality of products, systems functionality, and the ability to support international customers.

"For the Hit Group, the introduction of Bally's system is of key importance for the increased business competitiveness, especially in the field of upgrading the system of relations with guests -- CRM," said Niko Trost, MSc, President of the Management Board of Hit.

"We feel honored to have been selected by the Hit Group after such an extensive evaluation, and look forward to providing one of Europe's largest gaming operators our Networked Floor of the Future," said Richard M. Haddrill, Chief Executive Officer and President of Bally Technologies. "This contract reflects Bally's continued commitment to becoming the global gaming technology leader."

The Hit Group plans to implement Bally's award-winning Business Intelligence solution, a data analysis dashboard and data visualization tool that connects player data with individual game data, providing casino and marketing managers with deep insights into how casino patrons interact with the gaming floor.

For its sophisticated marketing initiatives, the Hit Group will use Bally's robust, player-centric Power Bonusing(TM) tools for coupons, sweepstakes, and other rewards and incentive programs.

Bally has also partnered with the Hit Group and is providing professional and technical services to help the gaming operator develop unique system features and programs for the Slovenian market and its current regulations.

The Company will complete its first installation at the Hit Group's largest gaming and entertainment center, the Perla Hotel & Casino in Nova Gorica, Slovenia, in the first calendar quarter of 2009.
