High Five tournament series returns to Americas Cardroom8 January 2016(PRESS RELEASE) -- Get ready for sky-high bankrolls and players who feel like they're on Cloud 9 for five straight days. Americas Cardroom has announced the next edition of the High Five, an online poker tournament series with $840,000 in guaranteed prize pools, spread out through five daily events for five straight days. "We're excited to bring poker players more of what they want with our $840,000 High Five poker tournament series this January," said Michael Harris, spokesperson for Americas Cardroom. "Our big series includes a $420,000 guaranteed Main Event. And in keeping with all things 420, we intend to pause all games at 4:20pm each day so players can take a courtesy break, whatever that might entail. We don't judge." The High Five is Americas Cardroom's signature five-day online poker tournament series, first launched back in 2013. This year's series gets underway on Jan. 20 and runs through Jan. 24. The schedule includes a total of $840,000 in guaranteed prize money, including a $420,000 Main Event. On the schedule each day are five separate online poker tournaments. Games offered include Texas Hold'em, PLO and PLO8. Games available include regular, 6-max, mega stack turbo, hyper mega stack, and various other events. The High Five culminates with a $420,000 guaranteed Hold'em tournament at 4 p.m. ET on Ja. 24. The tournament costs $420+35 to get into. Buy-ins for tournaments in the series range from $2+0.20 to $420+35. Satellites for several tournaments have been added to the Americas Cardroom daily schedule to help players secure seats in several events for less.
