Heist at Emperor's Palace Casino6 September 2005JOHANNESBURG, South Africa -- As reported by the South African Press Association: "About 12 robbers stole an undisclosed amount of cash from the Emperor's Palace Casino outside Johannesburg at 5.45am today, Peermont Global Limited said in a news release. "'There were no injuries to staff or the limited guests on the property this morning,' said Ernie Joubert, the CEO of Peermont Global Limited. A stolen get-away vehicle together with a stolen firearm and a portion of the money had been recovered. "... Emperor's Palace was open for business as usual..." |
