Hawaii: Falling tourism could change poker bill contemplation

30 March 2011

HONOLULU, Hawaii -- Hawaii expects tourism from tsunami-ravaged Japan to be reduced 45 percent next month,
Hawaii News Now reported.

The affect of this reduction has lawmakers reconsidering poker tournaments as a form of revenue, Hawaii News Now said.

There is currently a poker bill before the house, which needs to be heard before April 8, if it is to be included in this session, the report noted.
