Harrah's to Rebate Losses

KANSAS CITY, Missouri – As reported by the Kansas City Star: "Harrah's is trying something new — jackpots for losers.

"In a bid to increase business on typically slow Mondays and Tuesdays, Harrah's North Kansas City Casino and Hotel during May will rebate 10 percent of every tracked player's net daily losses on those two weekdays.

"It also will add 10 percent to their daily winnings.

"Win $100 for the day and get an additional $10. Lose $200 and get $20 back. Losses must reach $50 to trigger rebates, which will be mailed automatically to players in the form of cash vouchers.

"…The 10 percent-back deal applies only to electronic game play. Blackjack and craps players need not apply.

"Bonuses are capped at $200, so forget about scoring an extra 10 percent from one of those rare $1 million slot jackpots…"
