24 January 2011

W ORLEANS, Louisiana -- Harrah's New Orleans reduced full-time workers hours between 2008 and 2010 despite being legally required to maintain a particular level of full-time employment, The Times-Picayune reported.

Harrah's New Orleans is required to employ 2,400 full-time employees as part of a bankruptcy tax break agreement, The Times-Picayune said.

Harrah's has reduced full-time workers hours and increased part-time workers, however the term employee is not "defined in the legislation", The Times-Picayune reported.
