Harrah's Exec Appointed to New Jersey Board

ATLANTIC CITY, New Jersey – As reported by the Press of the Atlantic City: "Gov. James E. McGreevey on Thursday appointed a senior executive with Harrah's Entertainment Inc. to represent the gaming industry on the board of the state Casino Reinvestment Development Authority.

"David J. Satz, vice president of government relations and development for Harrah's, fills a vacancy created by the resignation of Nicholas L. Ribis, vice chairman of Resorts Atlantic City.

"Ribis was a virtual no-show while serving as one of two gaming representatives on the CRDA's 15-member board.

"…Although Satz is an executive with Harrah's, he will join Trump Hotels & Casino Resorts Inc. executive Joseph Fusco in representing the entire casino industry on the CRDA board. The powerful agency oversees the spending of hundreds of millions of dollars in gaming revenue for housing projects and economic development in Atlantic City and other parts of the state…"
