Gulf Coast sees increase in casino construction2 February 2011MISSISSIPPI -- New construction along the Gulf Coast could be coming the Mississippi Gaming Commission said today, according to the Clarion Ledger. As many as four casinos may potentially be built along the Coast, the report explained. Among the planned properties is the Margaritaville Casino in Biloxi, which is scheduled to open by the end of the year, while the Rotate Black Casino plans to open in a converted cruise ship to start with, the Clarion Ledger reported. The hope is that state gaming revenue will increase with the arrival of these new properties, the Clarion Ledger report made note. |
