Gulf Coast Poker Championship presented by Beau Rivage

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Beau Rivage Resort & Casino proudly presents the 12th Annual Gulf Coast Poker Championship Event 1 through Event 3 results. Event 1, a $300,000 Guaranteed $360 Buy-In attracting a staggering 1,638 entrants Greg Peoples, a native of Hoover, Alabama, made it to first winning $46,197 of the $476,020 total prize pool.

Event 2 was a One Day No Limit Hold ‘em $300 Buy-In with more than 200 total entrants with a whopping $53,325 total prize pool. Tony Dobyns came all the way from Porter, Texas to win first place winning $9,000. Event 3, the Big O $300 Buy-In drew in 88 entrants, bringing the total prize pool to $20,856. Chase Smith from Savannah, Tennessee, took home first a $4,575 win.

The Gulf Coast Poker Championship has a unique tournament format designed to offer multiple day events. Registration begins at 6 p.m. on 5 September, and will continue daily from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Poker results and winner photos will be updated daily to Beau Rivage Digital Newsroom.

Poker players can play and stay with a special $69 weekday and $119 weekend hotel rate.
