Guam Anti-Gambling Group Sued for Defamation

GUAM – As reported by the Guam Pacific Daily News: "Slots-machine proponent Guam Greyhound and its owner James Baldwin sued an anti-gambling group for defamation today.

"Named in the lawsuit were Lina'la Sin Casino and its spokeswoman Jackie Marati. Also sued were unnamed individuals referred to in the suit as John Does 1 through 20.

"The lawsuit alleges Lina'la and Marati provided the media with 'a steady stream of inflammatory lies.'…"
