GTech Gets Colorado Contract Extension

WEST GREENWICH, Rhode Island – As reported by the Associated Press: "GTech Holdings Corp., the world's largest lottery systems operator, said Wednesday it received a 90-day contract extension with the Colorado Lottery, valued at about $2 million in revenue.

"GTech's contract was scheduled to expire Oct. 31, at which time Scientific Games Corp. would become the state's vendor for equipment and services for a new integrated online and instant-ticket lottery system. GTech's extension, which runs through Jan. 30, 2005, will allow Scientific Games more time to convert the system beyond what was previously planned…"
