GSN Joins AT&T Line-up22 August 2006TEXAS – (PRESS RELEASE) -- AT&T Inc. (NYSE: T) and GSN, the network for games, today announced a distribution agreement to deliver GSN as part of the AT&T U-verse(SM) TV channel line-up. GSN provides AT&T U-verse TV customers with classic and original interactive game show programming, critically acclaimed casino series, and opportunities to win cash and prizes. As an industry leader in interactive content, GSN features more than 130 hours every week of programming designed for interactive play-along online, with a unique rewards program for interactive players. "We are developing a television experience that is centered around the consumer by delivering a robust channel lineup that speaks to a wide variety of interests," said Amy Friedlander, senior vice president of programming, AT&T Operations, Inc. "AT&T is proud to provide customers with the quality and exciting game-related programming from GSN." AT&T U-verse TV is delivered by Project Lightspeed, the company's initiative to expand the fiber-optics network deeper into neighborhoods to deliver U-verse TV, AT&T Yahoo!® High Speed Internet U-verse Enabled and, in the future, Voice over IP services. Through its subsidiaries, AT&T expects to reach nearly 19 million households by the end of 2008 as part of its initial deployment, using fiber-to-the-node (FTTN) and fiber-to-the-premises (FTTP) technologies.
