Greens Would Cut Pokies

VICTORIA, Australia – As reported by the ABC News: "The Victorian Greens have announced a gambling policy that would cut the number of poker machines in Victoria by two-thirds.

"That would reduce the number of machines in the state to about 10,000.

"The Greens' gambling spokesman, Greg Barber, says the party also wants to have pokies removed from clubs and pubs in disadvantaged areas…"
