Grand Sierra Resort Casino to host hiring fairs

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Grand Sierra Resort and Casino will host weekly hiring fairs every Thursday from Thursday, 14 January through Thursday, 25 March from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The job fairs will be held at the Grand Buffet every week to fill several available positions at the casino resort in its continued efforts to support the local economy.

Recognized as northern Nevada’s premier resort, GSR will host a job fair for environmental services and housekeeping positions, including Guest Room Attendants, Clean Ambassadors, Utility Cleaner, Utility Engineer, Housekeeping Porter, Housekeeping Utility Porter, Housekeeping Special Project Lead and more on the following dates:
  • January 21
  • February 4 and 18
  • March 4 and 18
The casino-resort will also host a job fair for security positions, including Security Officers, Special Reaction Team Officers and K-9 Officers on the following dates:
  • January 14 and 28
  • February 11 and 25
  • March 11 and 25
The hiring events will follow the resort’s health and safety protocols developed in collaboration with health experts. GSR Clean furthers the resort’s already rigorous sanitation protocols as well as implements mask use and social distance guidelines as well as hundreds of additional practices developed to minimize risk for guests and team members.
