Grand Sierra Resort and Casino celebrates eighth anniversary

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Eight is great at Grand Sierra Resort and Casino, which is celebrating its landmark anniversary with a variety of specials available exclusively to Club Grand members. Guests are invited to be grand with gaming promotions, drawings and dining deals to commemorate GSR’s eight years as Reno’s premier resort and casino destination. Club Grand is free to join and offers better rewards than ever before, including benefits that no other players club in northern Nevada offers.

Win up to $8,888 in free play with weekly drawings on Saturdays in November. Drawings will take place 16, 23 and 30 November at 7 p.m., 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. Play to win entries all month long and earn 18X entries on 18 and 28 November. Swipe daily at the kiosk for bonus entries based on card level.

Saturdays in November, GSR will host a series of eighth-anniversary slot tournaments. Play to win from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. on 16, 23 and 30 November.

Players who earn 8,888 base points within a week’s time throughout the month (4 a.m. Monday through 11:59 p.m. Sunday) will receive $88 in free play.

An assortment of food and beverage specials at Reno’s finest dining destinations are also available to Club Grand members, including:

  • Breakfast (6 a.m. to 11 a.m.): pancakes, bacon or sausage, and coffee for $8.88
  • Breakfast (10 p.m. to 6 a.m.): 5-oz steak and eggs, home fries, and coffee for $8.88

Dining specials exclude all holidays.
