Grand Opening of Pechanga Bingo set for July 4-726 June 2013TEMECULA, California -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Pechanga Resort & Casino introduces a whole new attitude in bingo coming to the resort/casino starting Thursday, July 4. Pechanga Bingo makes its permanent return kicked off with a Grand Opening from Thursday, July 4 through Sunday, July 7. Doors open on July 4 at 2 p.m. Pechanga Bingo players can get their fill of their favorite game at the only major facility in the region. Pechanga Bingo will feature games every day in its 700-seat facility. Games include a Monday through Saturday matinee, Monday through Wednesday evening games, Thursday through Saturday evening games and a Sunday Mega Matinee. Game packages and add-ons are also available so that players may receive the exact combination of cards they desire. Encompassing an existing 14,000-square-foot area of the resort, guests will find the state-of-the-art bingo area on the second floor, across from the Pechanga Poker Room. The room has two floors, plush seating in booths, at tables in the round and at tables in small rows. The next closest tribal gaming bingo facility is nearly 40 miles away. The Pechanga Band of Luiseño Indians opened their original bingo facility in 1995 in a location now adjacent to the existing resort/casino property. Guests say they are excited to see the game come back and full circle at Pechanga Resort & Casino. Last summer, Pechanga hosted bingo in the Grand Ballroom to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of the resort/casino. The multi-week endeavor proved extremely popular with patrons, so much so that many people asked if the resort would look into bringing bingo back permanently. Casino executives did just that and agreed that adding bingo on an ongoing basis would round out the largest resort/casino in the western United States’ gaming offerings for its guests. Pechanga Bingo will feature 700 seats on two floors, a private room for parties and special events, a snack shop with fast, yet gourmet, fare, free water and soda for patrons plus a full bar. The room will also offer tablet bingo gaming so guests may play multiple bingo cards simultaneously. Those who prefer the more time-honored experience of playing with paper bingo cards and daubers may also do so when the facility opens in July. According to Pechanga Resort & Casino Vice President of Slots, Buddy Frank, what will really set Pechanga Bingo apart is the “new attitude” of the game, set off by the modern and luxury setting of the room. “With progressive lighting greeting them the second guests enter the room, they will understand they’re in for a completely different and new experience in bingo,” says Frank. “Of course, the games themselves will be what tried and true bingo players know and love, but they’ll be surrounded by superior hospitality in a comfortable and friendly environment.” |
