Grand National winner in hospital8 April 2013ENGLAND -- The jockey who triumphed at the Grand National on Saturday is in hospital after a tumble at Hexham, the BBC is reporting. Ryan Mania, who rode Auroras Encore to victory at Aintree, was riding Stagecoach Jasper at Hexham when he fell, the report said. He took a nasty horse hoof kick between his shoulder blades, but was described as stable in hospital with neck and back injuries, the BBC reported. |
