Grand Funk Railroad to perform at The Vine6 November 2018(PRESS RELEASE) -- Del Lago Resort & Casino is pleased to announce Grand Funk Railroad will perform on Friday, 8 February at 8 p.m. Tickets go on sale on Friday, 9 November at noon and may be purchased in person at the del Lago Resort & Casino box office, by calling the box office at (315) 946-1695 or online. This is the second time Grand Funk Railroad will perform at del Lago Resort & Casino as the band played to a sold-out crowd on 1 February 2018, marking del Lago’s first anniversary. Grand Funk Railroad is a top selling American rock group of the '70s. Known as “The American Band,” the high-energy five-piece group laid the groundwork for such bands as Foreigner, Journey, Van Halen and Bon Jovi with its signature hard driving sound, soulful vocals, muscular instrumentation and forceful pop melodies. Mega-hits “We're an American Band,” “I'm Your Captain/Closer to Home,” “Locomotion” and “Some Kind Of Wonderful” still receive continuous airplay on classic rock radio.
