Grand Casino Mille Lacs and Grand Casino Hinckley extend closure dates

9 April 2020

Grand Casino Mille Lacs and Grand Casino Hinckley in Minnesota will remain closed until further notice, per an announcement that was posted on its website today:

When we made the unprecedented decision to temporarily close Grand Casino Mille Lacs and Grand Casino Hinckley, we did so to protect the safety and wellbeing of our Associates, Guests, and community.

Since then, we have been closely following the day-to-day updates and changes in guidance from the CDC, the Minnesota Department of Health, and our state and federal leaders.

The last update shared was that the temporary closure would be reassessed by April 13, 2020. The fact remains that the threat of COVID-19 remains too high for high-traffic businesses like ours to reopen at this time, so we will remain closed.

With our properties cleaned and sanitized from top to bottom, and the closure now extended for an uncertain amount of time, we will continue to reassess the situation daily and will keep you updated on our website, email and social media.

Our commitment to you is that when we reopen our doors, Grand Casino will deliver the clean, safe, friendly, and fun experience you’ve come to expect at our properties.

We look forward to sharing stories with you soon! Meanwhile, stay safe and be well.
