Grand Canal Shoppes contribute to Vegas art scene

16 October 2017

(PRESS RELEASE) -- The Grand Canal Shoppes inside The Venetian Las Vegas and The Palazzo Resort Hotel Casino add to the local art scene by welcoming Animazing Gallery. Boasting over 3,000 square feet, the two-level gallery specializes in contemporary art, pop art, surrealism and one-of-a-kind illustration art created by a range of renowned illustrators such as Charles M. Schulz, Maurice Sendak and Theodor Seuss Geisel, also known as Dr. Seuss. Artists represented include Peter Max, Tom Everhart, Tim Cantor, Daniel Merriam, Fabio Napoleoni and Alex Ross.

"Our dreams and fantasies are rooted from childhood with characters that have greatly impacted us, shaped us and live deep within us," said Nicholas Leone, gallery owner. "The gallery allows us to reconnect to our youth and experience this magical world, allowing the viewer to embark on a journey by interacting once again with their past by bridging the present forward. A world where reality and imagination are blurred and the gallery experience is simply just the beginning."

Founded in New York City, Animazing Gallery began its emphasis on abstract cartoon art in the mid 1980s. The exhibit continued its way making its mark as an industry leader and expert in conceptual animation art over the past few decades and evolved to being at the forefront of contemporary art and illustration masters.

Animazing Gallery is open Sunday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Fridays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 12 a.m. For more information, visit the Animazing website. For more information on Grand Canal Shoppes, visit the website.
