Grand Banks Casinos Adds New Game

31 May 2006

CURACAO – (PRESS RELEASE) -- Just when you thought it wasn't safe to mix alcohol with card games, Grand Banks Casino introduced Tequila Poker on May 18th, combining two exciting table games into one great player option. Grand Banks is one of a small number of web-based casinos licensed to carry the new game and Tequila Poker will join the increasingly popular Blackjack Switch as the second card game offered exclusively to its players.

First developed in 2005 for the Hard Rock Casino in Las Vegas, Tequila Poker has just recently been licensed to a number of other land-based casinos in Sin City. The rules are simple – after an initial ante, a hand of four cards is dealt and players who opt not to fold have the choice of betting on either High Tequila, a total card value game where the top score can pay out 200 to 1, or the actual Tequila Poker, where the highest payout offering is also 200 to 1 for those lucky enough to net a Royal Flush. The player's final hand is comprised of the top 5 of a total 6 cards dealt and payouts start at 1 to 1 for a pair of aces, increasing steadily with many options for winning big.

Providing a new level of excitement for all players, Tequila Poker involves decision-making and a hint of luck - and the payouts can certainly be worth it. Sin City's newest sensation is finally online!

And to make playing at the casino even easier, Grand Banks is also pleased to provide three new payment methods in June – Click2Pay, 1-900-Pay and Epassporte - all offering convenience and security for players who want to focus on their game.
