Golden Gulf Want Site Declared Legal

20 October 2005

BILOXI, Mississippi – As reported by the Biloxi Sun Herald: "Next Thursday, the owner of 15½ acres on Back Bay Boulevard will ask the Mississippi Gaming Commission to declare it a legal site for gambling.

"It will be the first land site to come before the commission since the state approved allowing casinos to come ashore, but the project is not a new one. Christopher A. Ferrara of Baton Rouge, the sole shareholder of Golden Gulf Casino Inc., had filed a notice of intent in March that he would be seeking site approval.

"…Golden Gulf Casino would have 55,500 square feet of gambling space, 50 table games and 1,500 slots, according to the proposal submitted to the Gaming Commission."
