Golden Gaming to Buy Colorado Casino

COLORADO – As reported by the Denver Post: "Las Vegas-based Golden Gaming announced Tuesday that it has agreed to purchase the Mardi Gras Casino in Black Hawk.

"…A group of investors that included the Magness family spent $70 million to build the casino, which opened in March 2000.

"The casino has 700 slot machines, nine blackjack and poker tables, and two restaurants.

"…The company owns 35 taverns and operates 2,000 slot machines in Nevada…"
