GLI hosts meeting with Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau

15 July 2016

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Gaming Laboratories International recently hosted a meeting with the Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau, which could strengthen market growth for the gaming industry and the Macau market. GLI, the only laboratory based in Macau, handles a large percentage of machine testing for the APAC region and welcomed DICJ's visit to GLI Asia.

Director of DICJ Paulo Martins Chan said, "We look forward to maintaining continuous communication with GLI. Since GLI handles most of the machine testing in Macau, we intend to work more closely to increase testing for the market. Our focus is to further develop the mass market, and our collaboration offers a significant prospect for the future."

Future meetings will be scheduled between the DICJ and GLI to make this happen, step by step. "We appreciate that GLI Asia has invested in locally trained professionals and a corporate office located in the heart of Macau," Chan said. GLI experts were initially deployed in the field to train local market staff during the office grand opening and thereafter.

GLI is privileged to have an experienced team of Macanese engineers based in Macau to address local needs. GLI Asia has been the leading testing and certification laboratory in Macau since its establishment in 2009.
