Gettysburg battles again over a casino plan26 April 2010GETTYSBURG, Pennsylvania -- The battle for a casino near the historic site of Gettysburg continues, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer. The casino battle, certainly not a new one, has been going on for five years, the report said. Casino developer David LeVan maintains the $75 million resort would save and create jobs and is far enough away from the historic site not to affect it, the Philadelphia Inquirer said. The community appears divided on the matter along geographic lines, the report noted. |
