Georgia Lottery opposes federal legislation to restrict online gaming22 August 2014GEORGIA -- Georgia is lobbying against legislation to restrict online gambling, according to a Atlanta Journal Constitution report. Georgia has been selling lottery tickets online since November 2012 and has seen strong revenue generated from online sales, the report explained. The federal anti online gambling legislation proposed by Sen. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina would scupper the Georgia Lottery's ability to sell tickets online and damage revenue, the Atlanta Journal. |
