Georgia Lottery goes online

GEORGIA -- The Georgia Lottery is the latest lottery to go online and offer online ticket sales to customers, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported.

Whilst there were some objections, the move was largely motivated to increase revenue for the lottery and had the Governor's support, the report said.

The Georgia lottery funds HOPE Scholarships and pre-kindergarten programs, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution report.
