Genting have Miami move request denied

FLORIDA -- Genting Resorts have had their Miami move request turned down, according to the South Florida Business Journal.

The Malaysian gaming company wanted to moved Gulfstream's racing permit in order to open a casino in Miami, the report said.

The Florida Division of Pari-Mutuel Wagering explained the refusal stating that a racing permit can only transfer in the same county, the South Florida Business Journal said.
