Gaming Leaders to be Honored22 October 2001LAS VEGAS, Nevada – Oct. 22, 2001 --Two g aming leaders and a banking executive will be the first honorees of the newly created Nevada Business Hall of Fame. William "Si" Redd, founder of slot machine giant International Game Technology Inc., E. Parry Thomas, former chairman of what is now Bank of America of Nevada, and Steve Wynn, former chairman and chief executive officer of Mirage Resorts Inc., will be honored at an induction ceremony at the MGM Grand hotel-casino Feb. 21. The Hall of Fame was created by UNLV's College of Business and the professional services firm Andersen. |
