Gaming Laboratories International celebrates opening of GLI España22 May 2012BARCELONA, Spain -- (PRESS RELEASE) -– Gaming Laboratories International (GLI) received a large and enthusiastic crowd of regulators and dignitaries from across the Spanish gaming industry to celebrate the grand opening of its newest lab in Barcelona last week. GLI President/CEO James Maida welcomed the crowd, and joining him were GLI Interactive Managing Director Phillip Barow and GLI España Technical Manager David Jimenez, who each delivered remarks to officially open GLI Test Labs España (GLI España). “We are absolutely thrilled to have welcomed such a large and enthusiastic crowd to the grand opening of GLI España. We are confident that an independent test lab of GLI’s calibre will be beneficial to the growing Spanish gaming marketplace, both terrestrial and iGaming,” Barow said. Corts Catalanes, 9-11 ofic.1D pl.2 08173 Sant Cugat del Vallès Barcelona GLI is accredited by all the Autonomous Regions in Spain to test and certify land-based gaming, and is accredited by Spanish Gaming Authorities to test and certify iGaming platforms for Spain. Jimenez leads 10 highly qualified engineers who are based in the new GLI España lab. GLI España is fully integrated within the GLI network, GLIAccess, and will feature all of the same capabilities that exist in every other GLI office. GLI recently launched a Spanish-language version of GLIAccess.
