Gaming Board Members to Address Pennsylvania Gaming Congress

Pennsylvania's march toward the commencement of slot-machine operations
has been filled with challenges since Act 71 was signed into law in July 2004.
Now, the Commonwealth is on the cusp of realizing its long-held potential as a
major gaming jurisdiction. Commissioner Colins, who chairs the Board's
Regulations Committee, will provide critical insight and a status report in a
keynote address titled "The State of Gaming in Pennsylvania."

Commissioner Rivers will speak at the Congress' featured panel, "Doing
Business with the Casinos: A Workshop for Minority- and Female-Owned Firms."
Commissioner Rivers and other experts will advise businesses owned by women
and minorities on how to benefit from an industry that will annually purchase
hundreds of millions of dollars in goods and services.

Commissioners Colins and Rivers have received high marks for their efforts
on the PGCB, which include developing the board's Gaming Diversity Forums.

The Pennsylvania Gaming Congress, expected to attract 500 gaming-related
professionals nationwide, takes place March 6-7 at the Whitaker Center here.
The conference theme is "At The Starting Gate," as racetrack slot-machine
operations are expected to commence next year.

The Pennsylvania Gaming Congress opens with a cocktail reception, followed
by an intensive daylong conference. Experts in gaming, law, finance,
regulation, government, and diversity will examine the key issues facing
Pennsylvania gaming.

Building upon the large turnout for the first Pennsylvania Gaming
Congress, the conference will take place in the 660-seat Sunoco Performance
Theater and adjacent Kunkel Gallery lobby. The Whitaker Center is conveniently
connected to the Harrisburg Hilton, which will accommodate the conference
luncheon and overnight attendees.
