Gaming Board Employees Say Web Postings Pry on Privacy

TRENTON, New Jersey -- As reported by the Home News Tribune: "A group of Casino Control Commission employees has filed a federal lawsuit that seeks to stop the state from posting their personal financial-disclosure statements online.

"Saying they fearing identity theft and a reduced chance of marriage, the employees are looking to overturn a law enacted this year that requires executive branch employees' financial-disclosure forms to be posted on the Internet.

"Jeffrey H. Sutherland, the lawyer who filed suit for the group March 30, said the group doesn't object to filing their forms but believe having them posted online makes them easy prey..."
