GameCo brings arcade-style gaming to Caesars Entertainment

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Reflecting a commitment to further enhance the casino-entertainment experience with skill-based games, GameCo, Inc., creator of the world's first skill-based, Video Game Gambling Machines (VGM), announced today that it is launching the first-to-market arcade-style games throughout Caesars Entertainment's portfolio of properties. This move is part of a multi-year, multi-property partnership aimed at enhancing the guest experience.

GameCo's VGMs combine the experience of playing video games with the excitement of gaming on the casino floor. Harrah's Cherokee Casino Resort now offers the excitement of the following games:
  • Pharaoh's Secret Temple appeals to casual gamers and current slot players and is a Match3 game.
  • Nothin' but Net lets players hit the basketball courts with 12 shots to win big cash. A player's virtual skill in making layups, jump shots, free throws and half court bombs are challenged in this fast-paced game, which also includes bonus Money Balls.
  • Danger Arena is a first-person action game where players battle DangerBots (robots) in a 45-second game.
The arcade-style games were recently installed at Harrah's Cherokee Casino Resort, in North Carolina with additional terminals planned for Harrah's Resort Southern California, Harrah's Ak-Chin Hotel and Casino and Nevada properties, pending regulatory approval.

GameCo is also working with a number of game developers for new games built on the VGM platform that are expected to be commercialized in the next several months, including an infinite runner game, Steve Aoki's Neon Dream, featuring legendary Grammy Award-nominated DJ/Producer, Steve Aoki.
