Gambling Addicted Sentenced for Three Years

AUSTRALIA – As reported by the New Zealand News: "A Melbourne gambling addict who managed to exploit a banking loophole to the tune of A$166,300 (US$178,000) has been sentenced to three years in prison.

"Alex Alexeev, 41, had the money deposited to his Suncorp-Metway bank account via automatic teller machine, exploiting a glitch that instantly credited customers with funds even when the deposit envelope was empty…"
