Galaxy Entertainment secures loan

MACAO -- A US$1.13bn loan has been approved for Galaxy Entertainment to continue construction on a casino in Macau, according to ifrAsia.

Construction had slowed on the project last year, Business Week reported.

The resort is scheduled to open in 2011, but with this acceleration a "soft opening" may come sooner, Business Week reported.
