Gala exec expects casino plan soon21 November 2007LONDON, England -- As reported by Reuters: "GalaCoral's Chief Executive Neil Goulden said on Tuesday he expects Britain's government to bring plans to build 16 new large casinos back before parliament by the end of the month. "Political experts expected the plans to come back before lawmakers before the end of the year. "A government spokesman said an order would be brought forward in 'due course', adding that the bill would not be finalised until a report was completed into regeneration around the Manchester and Blackpool sites earmarked as possible locations for a giant Las Vegas-style casino..." |
