Future of Mississippi gaming discussed24 July 2007BILOXI, Mississippi -- As reported by the Biloxi Sun Herald: "They don't have a crystal ball to see the "Future of Gaming" on the Mississippi Gulf Coast but panelists at a free symposium on Aug. 7 do have many years of combined experience to recognize the developing trends in the local casino industry. "The session is part of Tulane University's Casino Resort Studies Program, and casino employees and others interested in the topic are invited to sit in on the Power Point presentation. It will run from 5:30 p.m. to 8:20 p.m. at the Tulane's Edgewater Mall Campus. "Biloxi Mayor A. J. Holloway will introduce the panelists: Michael Cavanaugh, a Biloxi attorney who represents many condo and casino developers, and Mike Bruffey, in-house counsel for Isle of Capri Casinos. Adding color commentary will be Len Blackwell II, a former chairman of the Mississippi Gaming Commission and a faculty fellow at Tulane. Other panelists may still be added..." |
