Friday the 13th Lucky for Slot Player

LAS VEGAS – (Press Release) -- Friday the thirteenth was far from unlucky for an international visitor to the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino. Early this morning, the 49-year old woman, who asked to remain anonymous, won $10.2 million on Nevada Megabucks.

She said she played $20 on the machine before the three Megabucks symbols clicked into place. And while she was surprised by the jackpot, it wasn't entirely unexpected. She said that two weeks ago, she dreamed that she won a lot of money and this morning, she had felt the winning machine was calling out to her.

This was the tenth year the woman and her husband had visited the MGM Grand and she said now they may come more often.

The last time Megabucks hit at the MGM Grand was in 2000 when another international visitor won $7.7 million.

Megabucks was the first slot game to be linked throughout the state giving rise to the multimillion dollar jackpots.
