French Lick partners with charter company1 February 2007FRENCH LICK, Indiana – (PRESS RELEASE) --The skies above French Lick are getting busier, thanks to a partnership between French Lick Resort Casino and Greenwood Aviation. The Greenwood, Ind.-based on-demand charter company is now offering service to French Lick for $99, per person. As an added bonus, each guest will receive a $10 Resort Rewards player's card for use in the casino's slot machines. Greenwood Aviation decided to offer daily charter service to and from French Lick after a test run in early December. The company, which is owned by Darin Schroeder, Zach Zeller and Scott Bradley, flew two dozen guests from Indianapolis area to the resort casino for a quick excursion. Flight time in the company's Piper Seneca is only 30 minutes; the trip would be 110 miles by car. Guests can choose to make the round-trip the same day or inquire about overnight accommodations. Motor Coaches continue to bring patrons in by the busload. Regularly scheduled bus lines transport casino-goers from area cities including Louisville, Lexington, Indianapolis, Elizabethtown, Ky.; Shepherdsville, Ky.; and New Albany, Ind. Round trip fares are $15 per person and include a $10 pre-paid Resort Rewards player's card. |
