French Lick casino meets expectations

FRENCH LICK, Indiana – (PRESS RELEASE) — The group business being done by the French Lick Resort Casino is meeting expectations of the owners and operators, with one weekend luring more than 2,000 people who were part of different groups staying at French Lick.

"'We're definitely doing come convention business,' said Mark Bommarito, vice president of sales and marketing. 'So far, we've been very successful.'

"Bommarito wouldn't discuss specifics about the groups for fear the information would be used by the state's other casinos to steal business.
