Frankie Valli to perform at Rivers Casino3 June 2019(PRESS RELEASE) -- To honor Rivers Casino’s 10-year anniversary, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee Frankie Valli brings his legendary hits like “Big Girls Don’t Cry,” “Walk Like a Man” and “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You” to The Event Center on Friday, 9 August, and Saturday, 10 August, at 8 p.m. Tickets are on sale now and start at $69. With over 60 years of experience in the music industry, Valli has captivated audiences with his remarkable range and classic sound as the lead singer of The Four Seasons. From 1962 to 1978, Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons had 71 chart-topping hits and sold more than 100 million records, which included two of the group’s biggest songs, “Who Loves You” and “December 1963 (Oh, What a Night).” The New Jersey sensation emerged in the early ’60s with The Four Seasons’ debut performance on American Bandstand with their hit song “Sherry,” which launched them to international stardom. Shortly after, Valli began his solo career and released his popular songs “Let’s Hang On,” “Working My Way Back to You,” “Swearin’ to God” and “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You,” while simultaneously performing with The Four Seasons. “Frankie Valli is a musical icon and we are honored to have him celebrate our decade milestone,” said Rivers Casino General Manager Bill Keena. “The performance of his timeless tracks will be special and memorable for everyone there.” In 2007, Valli released his most recent album “Romancing the ’60s,” which features his own stamp on some of his favorite ’60s songs. The long-awaited album was produced by an original Four Seasons member, Bob Gaudio, and includes unforgettable new versions of “Spanish Harlem,” “Take Good Care of My Baby” and “Call Me.” Valli’s incredible falsetto and unmatchable talents have entertained fans of all ages for many generations, and he will continue performing for years to come. |
