Foxwoods welcomes guests to Big Papi's house with marketing campaign14 May 2019(PRESS RELEASE) -- Foxwoods Resort Casino, voted the Best Casino Outside Las Vegas by a USA Today readers’ poll, today unveiled its latest interactive marketing campaign featuring international baseball superstar and designated brand ambassador David Ortiz. The 10-time All Star and seven-time Silver Slugger will be showcased exclusively throughout property, providing guests and fans unique access to the beloved athlete as they are welcomed to Big Papi’s House. The multi-channel campaign will see the three-time World Champion greeting consumers at Foxwoods and beyond as he features prominently on the brand’s billboards, commercials, property signage, social platforms, mobile app and microsite offering a behind-the-scenes look at Papi’s preferred activities, such as gaming, restaurants, nightlife and extreme adventures. “David Ortiz is a longtime fan of Foxwoods, as he’s experienced the multitude of unique, exciting offerings on property over the years and seen firsthand why it’s The Wonder Of It All,” said Suzanne Trout, Chief Marketing Officer at Foxwoods Resort Casino. “We are always looking for ways to push that wonder to the next level, and this partnership hits a home run by connecting guests to Big Papi and the Foxwoods brand through this bold new campaign.” Foxwoods will be ramping up its social media and mobile efforts as part of the campaign via the #IFoundBigPapi scavenger hunt. Guests can take a selfie with designated Big Papi standees around Foxwoods and share their photo with the hashtag #IFoundBigPapi for the chance to win exciting prizes! Foxwoods is also giving guests the chance to win big with Big Papi’s Favorite Things. From now through 30 May, guests can enter by simply playing their favorite casino games using their Foxwoods Rewards card. For every two points earned, players will receive one entry into the drawing. Prizes range from $500 in bonus slot play to the grand prize trip for two to the Dominican Republic to attend Big Papi’s Charity Golf Tournament. |
