Foxwoods unveils big plans for Labor Day Weekend

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Foxwoods Resort Casino, the Northeast's premier resort destination, is revamping backyard barbeque plans this Labor Day weekend. Upgrade the long weekend and spend it with celebrity hosts, a hilarious comedian, country superstars and music legends.

Studio 25 – End of Summer Party
Foxwoods is throwing the ultimate end of summer party on 1 September, complete with celebrity sightings, red carpets and glittering disco balls. Foxwoods' Studio 25, inspired by the iconic Studio 54 in New York City, continues the 25th Anniversary Celebration happening all year long. Celebrities such as singer and actress Christina Milian, Real Housewives of Atlanta reality darling Kim Zolciak and actor Joseph Sikora of Starz hit show Power are heading to the Premier Ballroom to sip bubbly amongst their biggest fans. DJ Envy from The Breakfast Club will provide the pulsating club music, keeping the dance floor hot and the party going all night long. Tickets to this unforgettable 21 plus party are only $25.

Legends in Concert
With international acclaim and a storied history, Legends in Concert features an all-star cast of the most celebrated tribute artists in the business including crowd favorites Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson, Cher, Frank Sinatra and Rod Stewart. Labor Day weekend marks the last chance to see them on the final stretch of their latest residency through 3 September. Tickets are $30 and $40.

Legends in Concert Slot Tournament
On Friday, 1 September at the Great Cedar Casino, guests can mingle with Legends stars like Elvis, Michael Jackson, Cher, Rod Stewart and Frank Sinatra. All Legends in Concert ticket holders and FoxPerx ticket winners are invited to participate. From 4 p.m. – 6 p.m. guests will receive $15 Bonus Slot Play and are invited to play five spins at a max bet of $3 for their chance to walk home as Foxwoods' next big winner.

Old Dominion
Country superstars Matthew Ramsey, Trevor Rosen, Whit Sellers, Geoff Sprung and Brad Tursi, better known as Old Dominion, take the Grand Theater stage on Friday, 1 September. The band is known for blending old-fashioned country charm, lyrical wit and rock 'n' roll grit into their radio chart topping hits. One of the hottest bands in country music, Old Dominion fuses their clever lyrics and infectious sound into every song as heard on hit singles like "No Such Thing As a Broken Heart." Tickets are $30 and $40.

Gabriel Iglesias
Gabriel Iglesias, one of America's most successful stand-up comedians, is headed to the Grand Theater at Foxwoods for two nights on 2 and 3 September as part of his Fluffymania tour. His high-octane show is a sure-fire hit, incorporating a mix of storytelling, parodies, characters and sound effects that bring all his personal experiences to life. Tickets are $40, $52.50 and $64.50.

Liquid Sundays All White Party with Host Justin Combs
On Sunday, 3 September, Foxwoods guests can celebrate in style at Foxwoods annual All White Party. The All White Party will be the biggest one yet as the Liquid Sundays season comes to a close. Come dressed to impress in your all-white poolside best and enjoy the final days of summer weather. With no work the next day, let loose and party with DJ Rich Money Beatz all day long. Tickets are $60.

$1,000,000 Dream Slot Tournament Finale
On 4 September, celebrity host Mario Lopez will announce the winners of Foxwoods' $1,000,000 Dream Slot Tournament, including one lucky guest who will take home the grand prize of $250,000 cash. Foxwoods Rewards cardholders can still qualify for the finale by playing through 27 August, so don't miss out on your chance to win big. All Foxwoods guests are invited to join the fun at the Grand Finale in the Grand Ballroom on 4 September, beginning at 10 a.m.
