15 August 2017

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Foxwoods Resort Casino and Classic Entertainment & Sports, two titans of the boxing industry over the last quarter century, team up to bring fight fans an epic night of live championship boxing combined by one of the most highly-anticipated events in the sport's history. Fight fans can experience both world-class events for just $55.

Championship boxing returns to The Fight Capitol of the Northeast on Saturday, 26 August as New London, Connecticut, native Jimmy Williams (13-0-1, 5 KOs) defends his World Boxing Council U.S. National Boxing Council (WBC USNBC) Welterweight Title against Bronx, New York, vet Issouf Kinda (18-4, 7 KOs) in the Premier Ballroom just hours before the live showing of the Floyd Mayweather-Conor McGregor bout in Nevada at Foxwoods' Grand Theater.

"We are proud to provide this unique opportunity for Foxwoods guests to attend a live championship boxing event in person and to then witness an historic fight later that night," stated Monique Sebastian, VP of Entertainment & Entertainment Marketing Foxwoods Resort Casino. "To mark this special occasion, Foxwoods fight fans can purchase a special combination ticket to watch both events for just $55."

Tickets are priced at $25, $55, $90, $155 and $325 and can be purchased online, or Ticketmaster, by phone 800-200-2882 or at the Foxwoods Box Office. Seating for the Mayweather-McGregor fight only is available at $30, $50 and $75. A limited number of "Living Room" viewing areas, complete with seating for eight, buffet and open bar are available for $1,500.
